Real Kickboxing is a kickboxing conditioning class that
improves endurance, strength, muscle tone, coordination and

array of combative arts included in Erik Paulson’s CSW:
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Vale Tudo, STX-Savate Thai
Xross- Training, Boxing, Jun Fan Kickboxing, Freestyle and
Greco-Roman Wrestling, Shooto, Catch-as-catch-can
wrestling and Judo. This is a true MMA program, offering
a high intensity blend of mixed and art-specific classes
intended to cover the sporting aspects of fighting.
BJJ, made
famous by the Gracie & Machado family, is one of the most
respected and effective grappling arts in the world. "BJJ" is
not based on strength; it uses the opponent’s strength and
force against themselves. The key is leverage and balance, and
using proper technique to escape, hold and/or submit your
opponent. Since most fights end up on the ground, BJJ
concentrates on grappling from positions including the
“Guard”, the “Mount”, the “Back-Mount” or “Cross-sides”, from
which a variety of chokes, joint locks, pins and escapes are
practiced in the most effective methods possible.
MMA is the
combination of both the Striking (Muay Thai, Boxing) and
Grappling (Submission Grappling/ Brazilian Jiu-jitsu,
Wrestling) arts to produce the ULTIMATE system of Combat Sport
and Self Defense. The emphasis of this program is teaching the
all-important TRANSITION between the STRIKING and GRAPPLING
ranges of combat. Special attention is also spent on striking
in grappling situations such as clinch fighting or “dirty
boxing” as well as from the ground, more commonly know as
“ground and pound”. This program is done in conjunction with
the ABQKB & MMA’s Muay Thai, CSW and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
Kali, Eskrima, Arnis and Silat are just a few of the many names used
to describe the Filipino Martial Arts. Usually known for the stick and
knife, these arts actually encompass an entire spectrum of weaponry
and also feature sophisticated empty hands including boxing, trapping
and grappling. Both weaponry and empty hands are taught together
because the principles are common to both and are inter-changeable.
Armed or unarmed, the student learns how to relate to any situation.
Depending on speed, footwork and skill rather than brute strength,
this fluid and practical method of self-defense is one of the most
comprehensive martial art systems known.
Jr. wrestling
is an introductory class for youths 6-12 in traditional
wrestling practiced in high school and college teams. Youths
will be taught a series of moves against an partner to gain
physical advantage over their partner, and score points by
putting the partner in holds or pinning the partner to the
mat.

Tumbling will teach your child basic gymnastics, coordination
& balance, but more importantly we will help your child to
build character, learn to set and accomplish goals and have
the ability to achieve things that they may not have known
were possible.
The sparring and open mat times are here to help improve your skills,
practice live drills and ask questions. During this hour you can work
on drills and technique, free roll grapple, spar stand-up, or do a
combination of these. These hour and fifteen minute time slots are open to all
students, so bring a training partner and be ready for an expert
instructor to help you gain skill.

AM Fighter Training program is designed specifically and only
for professional & amateur fighters. We offer a complete
program designed to give each fighter what he or she will need
to compete at a world-class level. The program is based in one
on one coaching combined with team practice times so that 'no
stone is left unturned' when it comes to fight day. Our team
has competed across the country and won at numerous levels.
The training is rigorous, only the most disciplined athletes
should PRO / AM Fighter Training. Our
PRO / AM Fighter Training is
by invitation only. You must join as a regular student to be
evaluated by the coaching staff no matter how skilled you
believe yourself to be. Most students begin studying either or
both Muay Thai, CSW or BJJ.
